Terms of Service

By installing and using the ShopiScout Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the extension.

ShopiScout is a Chrome browser extension designed to assist with market research on publicly visible Shopify stores. It is intended for legitimate business research only. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, Shopify's policies, and each website's terms of use when conducting research.

ShopiScout is offered under two paid plans:

• Annual Plan — $99 USD / year. This plan auto-renews each year until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid period and you will not be charged again. By purchasing the Annual Plan you authorize recurring charges of $99 USD per year. The Annual Plan includes all product updates for 12 months from each payment date.
• Lifetime License — $249 USD one-time payment. A one-time payment granting a permanent, non-transferable license, including all future product updates for the lifetime of the product. There are no recurring charges for this plan.

Each purchase grants a non-transferable license to the extension's core features for the update period of the applicable plan: 12 months for the Annual Plan, or the lifetime of the product for the Lifetime License.

• After payment, you will receive a license key. Activate the license key inside the Chrome extension to unlock full functionality.

• 1 license = 1 Chrome profile. A license is bound to a single Chrome profile, not to a hardware device ID and not to a physical computer.
• On the same computer, every additional Chrome profile needs its own license.
• Re-binding is triggered when you change computers, reinstall the browser, or create or switch Chrome profiles.
• Self-service re-binding: unbind inside the extension, then activate in the new profile. No support ticket is required.
• The 14-day no-questions-asked refund applies to both the Annual Plan and the Lifetime License.

All purchases are covered by a two-layer refund guarantee:

• Layer 1 — 14-day no-questions-asked refund. Request a full refund for any reason, within 14 days of purchase, on either plan.
• Layer 2 — 30-day refund under the 2-of-5 rule. From day 15 through day 30 after purchase you still qualify for a full refund when at least 2 of the 5 documented conditions apply to your case.

Annual Plan: You may cancel at any time before the next renewal to avoid being charged for the following period. Canceled subscriptions remain active until the end of the paid period; no pro-rated refunds are issued for the remaining period of a billing cycle. Your first payment remains fully covered by Layer 1 and Layer 2 above.

License revocation: When a refund or chargeback is completed by our payment provider, the corresponding license is marked as refunded, the extension returns to its free tier, and activation checks return valid: false with the reason refunded.

You agree not to:

• Run high-frequency automated scraping that attacks or overloads third-party websites.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or crack the license and protection mechanisms.
• Resell, share, or transfer your license key to any third party.
• Use the extension for any unlawful purpose.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your license without a refund.

The developer retains all intellectual property rights in ShopiScout, including its code, design, and trademark. You are granted only the right to use the extension under these terms, and acquire no ownership or IP rights in the product.

The service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis.

• We make no warranties, either express or implied, regarding the extension.
• We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the extension.
• You acknowledge that you are using this tool at your own risk.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the extension after any changes means you accept the updated terms.
